For the past many years I will tell anyone who will listen that I love books. I will promptly follow that up by asking my innocent interlocutor if they have a Goodreads account. Unless they are a bookworm most people will say: “I don’t know, maybe? I think I made one a long time ago, but I don’t update it.”
